Originally from Toronto, Gillian is incredibly excited to begin her Masters in Lighting Design at New York University (Tisch School of the Arts) in the fall.  Gillian has served as Lighting Designer on productions across Canada including the Toronto premiere of Aaron Bushkowsky’s Soulless and the Western Canada premiere of Yasmina Reza’s The Unexpected Man.  Her work has garnered critical acclaim and a Jessie Richardson Award nomination.  Gillian has had the pleasure of assisting many of Canada’s top Lighting Designers at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, and working with groundbreaking international acts as part of Toronto’s Luminato Festival of Arts and Creativity.
